My favorite part of this book was when Grover finally got to meet Pan. I loved the description of the room they were in, and they somber, reflective way Pan spoke to Grover. Although this was a sad part of the story, I thought that it was also a great illustration of our own struggle with nature and the growth of civilization.
While reading this book, I really connected with Annabeth's struggles on several levels. She has wanted a quest for so long, but when she finally is given one, she is worried about making the right choices. I also was reminded of what it is like to be a young girl unsure of her feelings for her friends. She knew Luke was making bad choices, but she still cares for him and has a hard time believing he has turned evil. When Rachel shows up on the scene, I think it makes her realize that she likes Percy more than she realized, and she definitely does not like sharing her time with him! I can relate to that, as I remember many times as a teenage girl when I felt jealous.

I can connect to this story because when my brother had chicken pox my dad had to pick me up from school. And just like Wishbone nobody was there. But that was just because he was really late. 3 stars

I liked the book because I could feel the charcters emotion. A connection I can make from the story is that once I to had to go to the restroom really bad. This book was really GOOD because it teaches lessons like how mr. fredrickson learns that ellies love was not left in that house it was left inside of his heart. It has some really good adjectives like quivering and a few interesting words. Highly recommended. The auther has a really nice perspective in my point of veiw. My favorite quotes are "another blue one" Russell said as he saw a single balloon. Carl was not about to argue for it was simply a game. "For its the simple things that russell and I enjoy. " said mr. frerdrickson. I have somthing in commen with mr. fredrickson and russell we are all loved by some one.

One of my favorite parts in this story is when Jaclyn, the main character of this story, first moves to Sherpia. She starts out in Chicago and loves it there, but for some reason her aunt makes her move to Sherpia with her. Sherpia is a snowy place with a small amount of kids living there. She soon finds two kids who live there, Rolonda and Eli. They tell her about a mysterious Ice Cave and a living snowman who lives there. They tell her not to go to the Ice Cave, but she goes anyway. When she gets to the Ice Cave she figures out who her dad is, where her mom is, and she learns to trust her Aunt. I can connect to the snowman because I have been pushed too. Just not by living snowmen. I can connect to Jaclyn because I have been forced to go somewhere too. But I was not moving to another place. I can connect to Eli because I have been really scared of something too. But I sure am glad it was not a living snowman!

One of my favorite parts in this story is when Julie, the main character in this story, finds a weird old camera at a garage sale. The owner of the garage sale is a "huge red- faced woman in a tight fitting yellow dress." When she picks it up the lady yells "No! Put it down! You don't want that! Put it down- Now!" Julie put the camera down, then she quickly turned around because she felt a tap on her shoulder. It was a girl who was about twelve like Julie and had a big red face like the woman outside. She tells Julie to take it and not to let the lady see it. She goes home and takes a picture, but it is not the thing she took a picture of. Suddenly the thing she takes a picture of turns into the wrong picture! She accidentally takes pictures of people and they get really hurt. She even accidentally takes a picture of herself! I can connect to Julie because I have had to hide something from other people too. But the item was not a death camera! One of my favorite parts in this book is when Gabe, the main character, first goes in a old ancient pyramid with his uncle he calls Uncle Ben. He also goes into the pyramid with his cousin, Sari, she is mean greedy and always plays mean tricks on Gabe. The pyramid is cold and damp. Uncle Ben, Gabe, and Sari find traps, treasure, and even a mummy that can come to life!
I can connect to Sari because I have played tricks on people too. But I don't try to pull a prank every day like Sari does. I can connect to Uncle Ben because I have been looking for something for a long period of time too. But not inside of an old creepy pyramid! I can connect to Gabe because I have been bothered by someone too. But not my cousin!

This action packed book includes many karate words and there meanings. So while reading this fun book you are also learning! I can connect to Geronimo because people call me names too. I don't like being called most of them either. I can connect to Geronimo because I have been blindfolded too. But not because I was going somewhere that could get me injured! I can connect to Geronimo because I have worn something around my waist too. But not a karate belt! I love this book and prefer it too lovers of karate and comedy.

- My favorite part of this book was when Grover finally got to meet Pan. I loved the description of the room they were in, and they somber, reflective way Pan spoke to Grover. Although this was a sad part of the story, I thought that it was also a great illustration of our own struggle with nature and the growth of civilization.
- While reading this book, I really connected with Annabeth's struggles on several levels. She has wanted a quest for so long, but when she finally is given one, she is worried about making the right choices. I also was reminded of what it is like to be a young girl unsure of her feelings for her friends. She knew Luke was making bad choices, but she still cares for him and has a hard time believing he has turned evil. When Rachel shows up on the scene, I think it makes her realize that she likes Percy more than she realized, and she definitely does not like sharing her time with him! I can relate to that, as I remember many times as a teenage girl when I felt jealous.

I can connect to this story because when my brother had chicken pox my dad had to pick me up from school. And just like Wishbone nobody was there. But that was just because he was really late.

It has some really good adjectives like quivering and a few interesting words. Highly recommended. The auther has a really nice perspective in my point of veiw. My favorite quotes are "another blue one" Russell said as he saw a single balloon. Carl was not about to argue for it was simply a game. "For its the simple things that russell and I enjoy. " said mr. frerdrickson. I have somthing in commen with mr. fredrickson and russell we are all loved by some one.

One of my favorite parts in this story is when Jaclyn, the main character of this story, first moves to Sherpia. She starts out in Chicago and loves it there, but for some reason her aunt makes her move to Sherpia with her. Sherpia is a snowy place with a small amount of kids living there. She soon finds two kids who live there, Rolonda and Eli. They tell her about a mysterious Ice Cave and a living snowman who lives there. They tell her not to go to the Ice Cave, but she goes anyway. When she gets to the Ice Cave she figures out who her dad is, where her mom is, and she learns to trust her Aunt. I can connect to the snowman because I have been pushed too. Just not by living snowmen. I can connect to Jaclyn because I have been forced to go somewhere too. But I was not moving to another place. I can connect to Eli because I have been really scared of something too. But I sure am glad it was not a living snowman!

One of my favorite parts in this story is when Julie, the main character in this story, finds a weird old camera at a garage sale. The owner of the garage sale is a "huge red- faced woman in a tight fitting yellow dress." When she picks it up the lady yells "No! Put it down! You don't want that! Put it down- Now!" Julie put the camera down, then she quickly turned around because she felt a tap on her shoulder. It was a girl who was about twelve like Julie and had a big red face like the woman outside. She tells Julie to take it and not to let the lady see it. She goes home and takes a picture, but it is not the thing she took a picture of. Suddenly the thing she takes a picture of turns into the wrong picture! She accidentally takes pictures of people and they get really hurt. She even accidentally takes a picture of herself! I can connect to Julie because I have had to hide something from other people too. But the item was not a death camera! I can connect to the big weird red- faced lady because I have not wanted people to touch something too. But I did not go buzzerk!

One of my favorite books is Return of The Mummy. It has so much action and many surprises throughout the book. One of my favorite parts in this book is when Gabe, the main character, first goes in a old ancient pyramid with his uncle he calls Uncle Ben. He also goes into the pyramid with his cousin, Sari, she is mean greedy and always plays mean tricks on Gabe. The pyramid is cold and damp. Uncle Ben, Gabe, and Sari find traps, treasure, and even a mummy that can come to life!
I can connect to Sari because I have played tricks on people too. But I don't try to pull a prank every day like Sari does. I can connect to Uncle Ben because I have been looking for something for a long period of time too. But not inside of an old creepy pyramid! I can connect to Gabe because I have been bothered by someone too. But not my cousin!

This book is great! I love the part when it tells the reader how Geronimo is a weak, flimsy mouse without actually saying it. I love the description in this book and how the characters are described. One of my favorite parts in this book is when Bruce makes Geronimo go to a karate tournament. Geronimo knows nothing about karate, so he also must learn how to use karate moves. This action packed book includes many karate words and there meanings. So while reading this fun book you are also learning! I can connect to Geronimo because people call me names too. I don't like being called most of them either. I can connect to Geronimo because I have been blindfolded too. But not because I was going somewhere that could get me injured! I can connect to Geronimo because I have worn something around my waist too. But not a karate belt! I love this book and prefer it too lovers of karate and comedy.

My fifth favorite part is when Sol and Connie try to solve the riddles but they cant get the third one right and they only get a dog treat.
My connection is that when they were very very scared i have gotten very very scared when i had to jump off a cliff for the first time into water.
