Miles C.
Tom Sawyer
Mark Twain
There are 217 pages.
My favorite part is when they go pirating. I like this part because I liked to know the fact he was only a kid. I also liked how when he went pirating everybody thought he was dead. I connected to the story when he was digging for treasure in regular places. I remember when I tried to dig for treasure, and my mom yelled at me for tearing up the grass. I don't know why? Well anyway I give this book 4 stars.

The lion , The witch and the wardrobe
C . S . Lewis

My favorite part is when all the statues get unfozen because Aslan started to breath on them and his breath was so hot they melted . I did not like it when the white witch almost killed Aslan . I wonder how he did not die ? I really don't have a connetion with this book , but I have been walking in the woods when it was snowing. I give this book 5 stars.

5 Minute Fairy Tales by Jane Maday

Miles C.
The Merry Adventures of Robin Hood.
Howard Pyle
316
My favorite part is when Robin Hood takes the arrow right out of the sheriff's hand. What he did is he dressed in blue with an eye patch. He then won the archery match, and these are the same words the sheriff said: "I trow thou drawest better bow than that same coward knave, Robin Hood, that dared not to show his face here this day.''
a connection I made was that I am good at a bow and arrow.
I give this book 4 stars.

JacobG, James And The Giant Peach,by Roald Dahl, 119 pages,

One of my favorite parts is when Centipede sang about Aunt Sponge, and Aunt Spiker. Even though it was kind of rude how he talked about Aunt Sponge being fat. I also like the part when the cloud men threw cloud stones at James, his friends, and at the peach. Luckily the peach didn't get damaged or even scratched. I also like the part when James got all the birds connected to the peach. I can connect to Centipede because I like to sing too. But I don't sing every time something good happens. I can connect to Jack because I have set a trap too. But my trap was not a giant worm tied to some string. I can connect to Jack because I have met people that ended up being my friends too. But they were not giant insects.
4 stars

JacobG, Dragons, 116 pages, by Dr. Karl Shucker

I like the part when it tells the story of the dragonet and Winckelriedt. I feel sorry for Winckelriedt because he killed the dragon that could of killed him, then he got killed by the dragons blood. I also like the story about Perseus and the dragon of poseidon. I think it was kind of cool how the dragon had the ability to turn people into stone. But I feel sorry for all the people who got turned into stone. I learned that the dragon of poseidon could turn people into stone. I learned that the Tatzelworm was described as a creature with a cat's head, and a serpents body. I learned that Komodo dragons are sometimes mistaked as a dragon. I really agree with the people who think it looks like a dragon, I mean a big flesh eating lizard should get mistaken. I also learned that Hercules killed a lot of dragons.

Jacob G, Shiloh, by Phyllis Reynolds Naylor,137 pages

One of my favorite parts in this story is when Marty first meets Shiloh and how every time Marty stopped walking, Shiloh stopped walking. I couldn't help but smile when I heard it.I also like the part when Marty had to work to keep Shiloh. By the words the author used I could tell that it was very hard work. I also figured out that I do not like Judd Travers. Not only is he mean to his dogs, but people too. I can connect to Marty because I have had to do hard work too. But not work that would make sweat pour off my back like the work Marty had to do. I can connect to Marty because I also have a dog that likes to roll around in the grass. But my dog is not a beagle. I can connect to Marty because I have looked for something shiny and black too. But it was not the pupil of a rabbit's eye.

Jacob G, Old Yeller, by Fred Gipson,181 pages

One of my favorite parts of this book is when Travis says he wants a horse more than anything. It turns out he ends up getting a dog. I also like how the dog, Old Yeller, got his name. He was a big old yellow dog and when he barked it sounded more like a yell to Travis. I also like the part when Old Yeller protected Arliss and Ma. I can connect to Travis because I have a sibling too. But mine is older than me. I can connect to Travis because I have a dog too. But my dog is a girl and is tiny and fluffy. I can connect to Old Yeller because I have protected someone too.

Brittan Massey
James And The Giant Peach
by. Roald Dahl
119 pg.
I enjoyed reading this book, knowing it is the original story,it is easy to get interested. I enjoyed there adventures with the cloud men. I find the cloud men made the story better than the movie, in the movie there where no cloud men. I suggest/preffer the book rather than the movie. the story made me sit on the edge of my seat. A summery of this story would be about a boy scared because of his aunts , auntie Sponge and Auntie Spiker. He finds an unusaul man that provided him with the opertunity to make a peach grow. he sailed across the ocean with an unusaul bunch of friends in this giant peach that grew.
I can connect to james because I have frends too.

Kenady M.
James and the giant peach
Roald Dahl
120 pages
My favorite part in James and the giant peach is when they landed on the empire state building and the police asked them and 1 of them was where do you come from & they said 1,000 miles away. And they thought they were from mars and they were like no we are not. then the creatures started getting out
and the centipede came out and they tried to guess what he was.
